No doubt it'll make me sick since I'm lactose intolerant, but oh well.
Happy 4th. I hope you got to see some sweet fireworks...I love fireworks. I didn't get to see any. =( My manager didn't think anyone would come to Subway today, so he scheduled me to work by myself. I worked from 1-close; my sister worked until 2:30 and then I was alone. I had to do both closing and preclosing all by myself, and it was irritating because from 4-8 (when we closed today), people kept coming in. I didn't get out of there until 9, and didn't see a single firework. =( I love watching fireworks, and I especially love feeling the BOOM!
Troy and I found some on tv, though. haha. They were cool, but I couldn't feel them...obviously.
Okay, so I like Subway and being a shift lead and all, but I really need something that brings in a bigger paycheck. Preferrably something that would give me insurance, too. Anyone know of any place like that that would hire me? No, I don't have office experience, but I think I'd do well. (It seems like all the office jobs I've applied for have turned me down because I don't have experience.) I've worked in retail, but there's no way I could do that full-time.
I just need some $$ because soon I'm going to be getting my own car and moving out. I need more than the 20 hours a week that I'm getting right now.
Oh yeah, by the way, I'm going to be starting school with Grand Canyon University soon. Once this semester of radiography is over in mid-August, I'm done with it. I've decided to go back to my original plan...(4th grade) elementary teacher with an emphasis in math. The best part is, since my mom works at GCU, it'll be free for me!! Wahoo.
I'll be doing it online. I definitely prefer online classes...plus then my work hours will be super flexible. Now to just find a job with benefits...
