IT WAS AWESOME. (They're my favorite band.) Thanks to my GPS, I found the US Airways center pretty easily, BUT there were sooooo many different parking garages without signs that we drove around in circles for about 20 minutes. We passed the place two different times...I got sick of trying to figure out where the heck it was, so I just pulled into one, gave the guy my parking ticket thing, and asked him where to go. He told me I was in the right place...I just about died. Haha.
After we got in, we both bought shirts.
At 7:30, the show started. The first band that played was Paper Tongues. I didn't know who they were, but then I recognized their song "Get Higher" from the radio; I like it.
Then we had to suffer through Circa Survive. The instrumentals were pretty good, but the singer (if you could call him that) was hard to understand and his part didn't fit the music. At the break, I decided to eat. I knew the food was overpriced, but that day I had breakfast in the morning, went to work for 8 hours, went home and changed, and headed out to the concert. I forgot/was too excited to eat. One Wetzel's Pretzel cost 5 BUCKS! Psh. Anyway, shortly after (at 9:30)...
It was a great show. I love you, Linkin Park.
I almost forgot---at one point, some guy down in the crowd took off his shirt and was crowd surfing. Then another guy jumped over the mini-wall and tried to climb onto the stage...he didn't succeed. There were a lot of security guards.
