It's going to take me (at least) six years just to get an Associate's, AKA two year, degree. How stupid is that?? I pretty much have no chance of getting into the radiography program at Central AZ this year because a some of my credits don't transfer AND they just changed the program requirements less than 2 months ago. Unfair, but whatever. If I get accepted next year, then I will be in the program from January 2012 - December 2014. I have my final prerequisite class next week for the Gateway radiography program. Last time I checked (one year ago), the waiting list for the program was three years long. The year before that, it was two years long. At this rate, Crystal will have an associate's before me. I haaaaaaaaaaaaaate school. 2 years my butt. That's a load of crap.
Oh yeah, as far as my plan B, the medical transcriptionist program...well, first off, no one is returning my calls for registration. Secondly, we're supposed to type at least 45-50 wpm with no more than 5 errors. My speed is way above that, and I don't have many errors...BUT the program at the school that tests wpm is gyp(p?)ed! It says to indent for paragraphs...yet it counts it as an error, so the people say "try it again without indenting" and it STILL counts against me. I've shown the errors to the testing people and guess what they say? "Huh, that's weird. Well, there's nothing we can do about it. Sorry." I've been in there three times now.
Maybe I'm meant to work at minimum wage jobs for the rest of my life.
